Job Overview:
A Logistics Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations, ensuring that goods and materials are transported efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee import/export operations.
2. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
3. Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for timely shipment clearances.
4. Monitor shipment statuses and proactively address delays.
5. Plan and coordinate the logistics and transportation of goods.
6. Manage the entire logistics to enhance customer satisfaction.
7. Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency.
8. Monitor and manage budgets for transportation and delivery operations.
9. Prepare and maintain reports on logistics performance and KPIs.
10. Ensure safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment.
11. Coordinate with transportation teams to schedule shipments.
12. Manage crew of drivers ensure they comply to delivery schedule
13. Review and plan transportation schedules for the delivery of goods.
14. Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
15. Ensure compliance with regulatory and customs requirements for shipments.
16. Maintain records of logistics activities, including transportation costs, delays, and issues.
17. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics performance and other assigned duties
18. Communicate with transporters and freight carriers to arrange shipments.
19. Resolve issues with delayed or damaged shipments promptly.
20. Collaborate with internal departments like procurement, sales, and customer service for seamless operations.
21. Update stakeholders on logistics progress and issues.
22. Troubleshoot logistical challenges, such as transportation delays, inventory discrepancies, or damaged goods.
23. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
24. Handle last-minute changes or urgent delivery requests.
25. Monitor transportation and logistics expenses to stay within budget.
26. Optimize routes and shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
27. Negotiate with transport company for better rates and terms.
28. Train team members on compliance and safety best practices.
Daily Tasks
1. Review the day’s delivery schedule.
2. Check for any issues or delays with shipments in transit.
3. Communicate with the warehouse team about inventory and dispatch tasks.
4. Handle incoming and outgoing shipment documentation.
5. Monitor transportation progress and resolve any mid-day disruptions.
6. Update management and customers on delivery statuses.
7. Analyze performance metrics and address any inefficiencies.
8. Plan logistics activities for the following day.
9. Document the day's activities and report to senior management.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or degree in logistics or a related field.
2. Hands-on experience in warehouse management.
3. Knowledge of inventory management systems.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Proficiency in analytics tools like Excel, or ERP systems.
6. Experience with customs regulations.
7. Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade practices.
8. Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Competency Requirements:
Qualification : Minimum SPM or above
Experience : Minimum 1 years working exp. in equivalent field or related industry.
Skills (if required) : Possess good interpersonal skill is essential
Result oriented and computer literate.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skill to work independently.
