Electrical Design Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design electrical schematic diagram for automation machine.
• Create electrical panel layout, cable routing layout, etc.
• Generate bill of materials or select electrical components that need to purchase for the

machine.

• Communicate with team on machines specification and component selection.
• Coordinate with assembly team to provide guidance in electrical/ wiring whenever necessary.
• Knowledge and understanding of UL and CE Standards.
• Write machine manuals, setup procedures and machine checklist.
• Onsite service and troubleshooting should there be need arises.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

• Knowledge in Microsoft Visio Software is preferred.
• Knowledge in Eplan Electric is an advantage for future upgrade.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Professional language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a department of automation line or machine

manufacturing Industries is preferred.
