OQC Engineer (Outgoing Quality Control)

Job Description

• Conduct in-process quality activity including assessing the conformity of parts and

assemblies, ensuring they meet specifications requirement.

• Lead and manage the Machine buy-off process and verify packaging activity before

shipment.

• Review machine specifications and assemble process to confirm that products are

meeting all criteria before shipment.

• Handle customer feedback and complain. Work with others department and provide

effective countermeasure and preventive action.

• Responsible for customer quality improvement. Promote the implementation of

customer audit improvement measures to prevent recurrence of the problem.

• Reporting non-conformities and coordinating with the production team and suppliers

for countermeasure and root cause verification.

• Collaborates with representatives from various functional groups assigned to the

project including but not limited to design engineering, purchasing, production,

software engineering.

• Continuously evaluate and improve outgoing quality control processes to ensure

efficiency.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Organization Skills

• Strong understanding of quality control techniques, test methodologies, and statistical

analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, FMEA,

SPC, 8D.

• Familiar with Solidworks, Microsoft Office tools and experience on equipment such as

caliper, height gauge, CMM.

• Familiarity with industry standards and certifications such as ISO 9001 standards.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,

Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, testing, or engineering. Experience

in outgoing product control and inspection is advantage.

• Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
