JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities will be as follows:
- Delivery of goods to customers or suppliers as requested.
- Inter-company delivery of goods.
- To assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- To check & count goods before loading.
- To arrange for lorry inspection and renewal of licence.
- To inform superiors of road closures, accidents, traffic diversion, and when the vehicle is having a problem or breakdown.
- Basic maintenance of vehicles and upkeep of vehicles, such as cleanliness and tidiness, are part of the responsibilities.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
