We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin cum Account Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position requires a candidate with a strong administrative background and basic accounting knowledge to support the day-to-day operations of our office and financial processes.
Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
- Assist in handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as required.
- Maintain and update office records, databases, and documentation.
- Procure office supplies and manage inventory levels.
Accounting Duties
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoice generation, and expense tracking.
- Assist in reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage petty cash transactions.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
- Liaise with external auditors, accountants, or vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in administrative roles, with exposure to accounting tasks preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- [Optional] Diploma or degree in business administration, accounting, or related fields is an advantage.
