Accounting Assistant

MONTANIC SDN BHD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Maintain and update accouting records, including ledgers, invoice, and receipts
  • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Process invoices and expenses
  • Assist in stock take to make sure stock quantity tally with system
  • Support the finance team in preparing for audits and other financial reviews
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Handle any other administrative tasks related to accounting as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e,g., xilnex and SQL or similar)
    • Experience in handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
