Responsibilities:
1-Assisting the HOD & ML in providing legal support services via three main areas: Giving legal advice, Attending to legal documentation and Liaison with relevant laws authorities and external solicitors on legal matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws and to protect the Group's interest in the conduct of Group's business and related activities.
2-Administartive work
3-Liaison and follow through with external solicitors on Court litigation and arbitration matters for the Group, including representing the Group in Court mediation proceedings where required
4-Drafting Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
5-Attending to preparatory legal work for project launches and project handover to purchasers and supporting the relevant documents to troubleshoot breaches of SPAs and complaints from purchasers.
6-Attending to all ad hoc legal matters as may be assigned by HOD and LM from time to time
Requirements:
- Possessed a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB). Those who are called to the Malaysian Bar shall have an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a legal firm and/or as in-house counsel for the post of assistant manager OR minimum 3 years of working experience for the post of senior executive.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills with high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Analytical, meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
- Excellent command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
