Objective :
To provide delivery and transport service in the most efficient, timely and safe manner.
Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate 3 tonne or 5 tonne lorry both locally and outstation.
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck to ensure the truck is road worthy.
- Pick up goods, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
Requirements Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Truck License GDL
- Know Traffic laws or regulations/ driving knowledge
- Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day
- Able to pass random drug tests
- Clean driving record
- No convictions in the past years
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability and reliability
