- Responsibilities:
- To prepare project budget and material quantity, regularly review and update management on the budgeted cost during implementation of the project to ensure cost within budget for the project.
- To prepare progress payment certificate to sub-contractors base on work done certified by consultant and work done carried out on site.
- To evaluate sub-contractors’ bid and analyse costing before recommending award of any job to sub-contractors.
- To prepare submission of interim progress claim and ensure work done is certified timely and accurately by client / main contractor through site evaluation.
- To attend site visit and site meeting as and when required.
- To prepare for site measurement, taking off quantity and source for quotation.
- To liaise with consultant on final payment valuation and certificate of making good defect.
- To liaise with client and consultant and prepare for submission of loss and expense claim.
- To liaise with site personnel and prepare extension of time with suitable clause of submission.
- To ensure submission of progress claims and final account are prepared on time.
- Responsible for variation orders and calling quotation.
- Assist in tender activities if required.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.
- Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience for Executive level or 5-8 years for Senior Executive level.
- Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software like Glodon Cubicost, Revit (BIM), etc. will be an added advantage.
