- Conduct verification of material requisition and taking-off quantities/ site measurements of work done, preparing progress claims and invoices to clients and consultants to effect effective and efficient project management.
- Assist the Contracts team with monitoring and administration of the various contracts and sub-contract works including assistance with preparation of progress reports, the recommendation of payments, variation order certificates and final accounts documentation.
- Conduct client site representative liaison activities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking for project costs.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure budgets are adhered to.
- Produce regular financial reports and forecasts to track project performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
- Implement strategies to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or any equivalent field.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quantity Surveying. Property Development background will be an added advantage.
- In-depth understanding of the contracting business, including knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations.
