Scope of Responsibilities
- Accounts and Financial Reports, Fixed Assets, Budget, Policies and Procedures, Audit and etc.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, related to the Environmental Quality Act, Safety and Health Act, and management system standards, while ensuring that the QESH achieves its intended results by incorporating a process approach, risk-based thinking, and implementing improvements to enhance performance.
Key Task
- Accounts and Financial Reports
- To maintain full sets of accounts in compliance to generally accepted accounting standards.
- Ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and management reports and etc.
- Check and review chart of accounts, coding and proper entries of data.
- Assist in drafting, adherence, revision and update of policies and procedures for Group Finance.
2. Fixed Assets
- Ensure timely update of fixed assets register and completeness of fixed assets records.
- Ensure correctness and appropriateness of depreciation policies and computation.
- Periodic fixed assets physical count, review existence of assets and internal controls to ensure proper safeguards of assets.
- Identify and remind internal control to safeguard assets.
3. Budget
- Monitoring of actual result and capital expenditure requisitions against budget.
- Assist in preparation, checking, revision and compilation of budget.
- Prepare other ad-hoc analysis or projections as required by immediate superior/HOD.
4. Audit
- Ensure timely preparation of year end accounts for audit.
- Co-ordinate on audit schedules, debtors / creditors circulation and etc.
- Preparation of schedules and other liaisons with auditors.
5. Policy, Process and Procedures
- Ensure compliance to existing policy and procedures as well as Quality Standards.
- Actively review and identify process bottleneck and recommend for improvement including automation of processes
- Lead in inter-department liaisons in developing process and procedures and documentation of those policies and procedures.
6. To act as additional back up for CIT.
7. To act as relief for other executives or subordinates’ work.
8. Undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Group Finance.
Job Requirements
- Qualification : Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Experience : Minimum 3 years related working experience.
- Specific skills/ abilities :

iv) Computer (Advance Excel, Words and Powerpoint)
