Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality controls into every phase of the production process.
- Interpret customer standards, identify whether customer standards are complete, simultaneously evaluate testing equipment solutions, submit production requests, and follow up on progress.
- Ensure products comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Stay informed about relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and quality tests to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Investigate and analyze root causes of defects or quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified problems and prevent recurrence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and feedback.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback related to product quality.
- Address customer complaints and work towards continuous improvement based on customer input.
- Collaborating with suppliers to develop and implement quality assurance processes, performing audits, resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- As the primary liaison between the company and its suppliers on quality matters.
- Participate in supplier evaluations within the procurement resource pool and new supplier areas to produce evaluation reports.
- Conduct audits of existing and new suppliers based on procurement resource requirement, follow up to ensure issues identified in the audits are resolved.
- Identify and convert quality information according to the requirements of new projects and ensure effectiveness communication of the information.
- Participate in the development of supplier audit content and plans and ensure the implementation of supplier audit content.
- Conduct periodic on-site audits of suppliers based on their corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of the actions.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Familiarity with and understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of computer literacy.
Education Requirements:
- Diploma, degree or equivalent preferred; or more than 3 years of Quality related experience or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language(s) Requirements:
- Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
