Position Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Chief Investment and Property Officer, this role responsible for but no limited to:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with goals and requirements.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
2. Licensing and Permits:
- Identify and obtain all necessary licenses and permits for projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
- Liaise with government agencies, inspectors, and other regulatory bodies.
3. Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget.
- Approve expenditures and manage project financials.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, team members, and senior management.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
5. Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as needed.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain project quality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidate must possess own transport and willing to travel.
