Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in academic institution or related industry is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of statutory requirements and guidelines of MOHE or other relevant bodies would be an added advantage.
- Experience with Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA), grant management and publication.
- Detailed oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
Job Descriptions:
- To assist and support the administrative affairs related to the Research Management Centre and manage the administrative tasks related to research.
- Coordinate and facilitate MyRA audit and assist QA with other relevant audit such SETARA and QS rankings for research data.
- Manage and facilitate implementation of external and internal research grants.
- Liaison officer to external statutory bodies.
- Prepare senate and centre reports; secretariat to coordinate CRI related meetings and prepare minutes of meetings.
- Manage academic publication funding and reward scheme.
- Facilitate participation of QIU staff and students for external innovation competitions.
- Disseminate information to academic staff on research opportunities- grants, publication, conferences, training and etc.
- Coordination and facilitate for research related academic talks/workshops for academic staff.
- Attend to any other matters as assigned by the superior and Management from time to time.
