Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Tasks
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records with accounting software.
Post journal entries into the general ledger.
Prepare invoices and handle payment processing.
Assist in generating financial reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Budget and Forecasts
Support the team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Monitor expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
Taxation
Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Organize and maintain records for audits and tax filings.
Audit Support
Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and data.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and propose solutions.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Administrative Support
Maintain and organize financial files and documentation.
Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Entry-level or 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships included).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Autocount,SQL, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good organizational skills.
