Develop and manage Quality Assurance programmes and activities that to ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, government regulations, and industry best practices including GMP and HACCP.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure quality objectives and product performance are met through constant monitoring and improvement of internal and external requirements.
- Establishing and maintaining quality control measures throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product distribution, to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Working with stakeholders in the plant to drive continuous improvement of product safety and quality, GMP control, manage process control, risk management, compliance to regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Review, develop and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs, records, and product specifications to enhance quality efficiency and performance at the plant.
- Ensure all timely and consistent corrective and preventive measures are well addressed and implemented for in-process non-conformance, customer complaints, and auditing (internal & external) with appropriate and quick response to address root causes and proper solutions. Follow up and update management on the progress and effectiveness of the action plan on a timely basis.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices to ensure a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- To lead and motivate subordinates to ensure that the team is competent and capable of performing their routines to meet the quality management system and management expectations.
- Perform any work or responsibility assigned by the Management as and when necessary.
