Job Description:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Process and record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reimbursements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including issuing of tax invoices to customers, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Oversee general ledger entries, ensure timely reconciliations, and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and timely.
- Assist Financial Controller in monthly reporting and weekly cash flow
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and regular forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies, facilitating audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the implementation of E-invoice and reporting to Inland Revenue Board (IRB)
- Diploma and above or ACCA equivalent.
- 5+ years of full set accounting & management reporting experience.
- 1-2 years experience in payroll processing
- Fluent in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (experience with Navision or similar ERP systems preferred).
- Knowledgeable in use of Ms Office application, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
