I. PRODUCTION
a. Having a safety-first mindset and enforcing safety requirements in the workplace. Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and company regulations.
b. Conduct investigations and write incident / accident reports, including the implementation of effective countermeasures.
c. Develop and execute monthly production plans and also manage day-to-day work activities to ensure the smooth operation of production work and the production of quality products.
d. Provide strong leadership to the workforce, motivating them to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
e. Capable of managing and controlling people, including training, mentoring, and disciplining within the company's guidelines and expectations.
f. ISO 9000 QMS (Quality Management System) experience with the ability to develop and improve procedures and work processes, including data collection for analysis. Ensure that all production activities adhere to the organization's quality standards.
g. Prepare and submit production reports as directed by the department head. Keep accurate production records and documents.
h. Follow up on and monitor production workers' attendance, OT, and leave application processes.
i. To communicate with the HR department of production workers' issues.
j. To compile a monthly production worker attendance list.
k. To facilitate communication between local production workers and expatriates.
l. To assist in the verbal and written translation of Mandarin to English, Bahasa Malaysia, or vice versa during production meetings.
m. Participate in regular meetings with the management team to review progress and identify areas for improvement.
n. To assist with other administrative tasks and to support day-to-day operations.
II. WAREHOUSE
a. Performance and verification Check incoming and outgoing shipment activities to ensure information matches bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records.
b. Verify customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine which items will be moved, gathered, or distributed.
c. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, document shortages, and communicate with shippers to resolve damages and shortages.
d. Keep track of shipment data, including weight, measurements, and charges.
e. Pack shipping containers, create shipping labels, and prepare shipping documents.
f. The loading and unloading of goods.
g. Create and keep accurate shipping / receiving documents.
h. Any anomalies observed during weighbridge operations should be reported promptly. Ensure that the information on the delivery documentation is correct, accurate, and tallied. Updating daily records on the computer system and generating daily delivery performance reports. To handle goods, accept all incoming materials.
i. Any other duties
EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIRED
1. Preferably 2 years related working experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Good language skills: Chinese, English, and Malay.
3. Ability to write and manage standard documents.
4. Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
5. Excellent organization and communication skills. Leadership Skills. Problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage time and improve efficiency.
7. Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
