Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that foster a high-performance culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while promoting fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Partner with senior management to identify organizational needs and develop solutions to drive business performance.
  • Manage succession planning initiatives to ensure talent pipelines and organizational resilience.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management efforts and promote a positive work environment aligned with OCIM’s values and mission.
  • Lead and mentor HR teams, fostering their professional growth and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of HR regulations, labor laws, and employment standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in HR metrics and data analysis.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
