Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities aligned with OCIM's strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and potential areas for expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for new ventures, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure successful execution of new ventures.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, stakeholders, and investors to support growth initiatives.
- Oversee the project management of new ventures, ensuring milestones are achieved within scope and budget.
- Present business proposals and progress updates to the executive team and Board of Directors.
- Monitor the performance of new ventures and make strategic adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and innovations to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, venture management, or strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing new ventures or products.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the capacity to influence and drive collaboration across teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging various stakeholders effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in building partnerships and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
