Job Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate finance activities, including capital budgeting, financing strategies, and financial modeling to support the company's growth objectives.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure and negotiate financial transactions and agreements.
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and variance reports to inform decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions of the company.
- Guide the development and execution of financial strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors on corporate finance and tax matters.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial and tax-related risks.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and corporate finance trends to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, tax management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, investment valuation, and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
