Since 2020, Johnsonville has owned PrimaBaguz, a Malaysian manufacturer specializing in halal meat products. Established in 1987, PrimaBaguz offers over 100 high-quality halal meat items, such as sausages, cold cuts, meatballs, patties, soups, and sauces. The company primarily serves global foodservice customers, including quick-service restaurants (QSR) and hotels, restaurants, and catering services (HORECA).
This acquisition enhances Johnsonville’s presence in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia. Johnsonville aims to leverage PrimaBaguz's expertise in halal-certified products and plans to make it a hub for halal foods in expanding markets across Asia and the Middle East.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the customer’s strategy and customer business plan.
- Responsible on sales achievement, implement and optimization of the promotional plan.
- Increase our brands market share at point of sales level by building excellence business relationships.
JOB ROLES
- Work closely with customers to implement business plan for the respective channels.
- Develop and implement the optimal integrated promotion activities to increase sales revenue/volume.
- Monitor customer performance by tracking sales, customer contribution and market share for each channel.
- Expand outlets/products range via canvassing and handover to a distributor for follow up sales.
- Build strength business networking to ensure new prospect encounter with company product for product development.
- Contribute new ideas and suggest a new product in order to maximize sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
- Service and maintain good rapport with all customers.
- Responsible for routing plan to maximize time spent.
- Alert with market trends and tracking competitors’ activities by report to superior and provide recommendations for follow-up action.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Marketing/Business or equivalents with 3 years related experience.
- Preferably candidate with working experience in F&B Industry.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers.
- Satisfactory working experience in Business/Marketing.
- Good communication skill (both spoken and written) in English.
- Demonstrate strong business and marketing skills.
- Customer and result oriented person.
