• Responsible to verify reconciliation for the payroll team, ensuring efficient payroll operations and provide exceptional service delivery to all stakeholders • Agile, CI mindset, initiator, lead and emphasize on streamline processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency and quality of works. • Lead and coordinate CI or improvement projects within payroll in APAC as well as contribute to cross team CI initiatives. • Ensure payroll processes, reports and delivery are compliance with local tax and labor law, internal and external audit and security requirements, ICFR, and BCP ready. • Manage relationship with all stakeholders and third party vendor, ensuring they meet performance standards and compliance requirements and able to provide recommendation for improvement. • Strategically motivate, encourage, engage with and support team member whenever necessary. • Expert in multiple payroll countries & payroll system and able to handle high complexity payroll and backup the team member during emergency. • Lead Business Partner meeting or review, presentation of ideas independently with constructive action plan. • Act as the first level of point of contact for any escalated payroll issue in the team, Managing escalation independently and swiftly • Role model, self-driven to success, instils a robust culture of knowledge sharing, engaging with the team and stakeholders, good time management skills • Supervise the team's daily operations and administrations (SLA, queries, reporting, deadlines) with proper ownership • Provide indirect coaching to the team on daily operations matters within APAC with proper ownership • Proactive promote collaboration, alignments and improvements across stakeholders and across functions or regions. • Accountable for payroll, tax and any internal or external statutory audits. • Responsible for ensuring the BCP around the payroll process is constantly reviewed, updated and tested to ensure BCP readiness • Governe and responsible for managing third party payroll vendor for respective countries ensuring meeting SLA • Provides first level decision for any issues raised by the team and ensure processes are embedded and adhered to consistently throughout the team.
