JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Overall General Management.
- Responsible for situation management, HRA management, and strategic planning.
- Manage and oversee HR, Admin, and IT departments.
- Full Spectrum of HRA Management and strategic planning of all elements of the HR cycle i.e. manpower planning, recruitment and selection, employee and industrial relations, staff welfare, training and development, career and performance management, compensation and reward, and exit management are effectively implemented across all the departments.
- Set, develop, and implement company HR and Admin policies and procedures in compliance with the company’s objectives and statutory requirements.
- Review of job descriptions, specifications, and grading in line with job scope and dynamics in liaison with the user department.
- Handling of employee disciplinary issues and other human relations matters; impose and carry out related inquiry/performance improvement programs according to necessity.
- Working closely with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Liaise with the local government and institutions/agencies to ensure the company’s compliance with statutory legislation and regulation.
- Responsible for controls of the Company’s standard forms and documentation, etc., to comply with ISO Quality & Occupational Safety management requirements.
- Manage and control the company’s documentary transactions (incoming and outgoing) for the administration and management office.
- Develop and maintain robust administrative systems on records and office maintenance; manage safety and health to foster a conducive work environment and ensure legal compliance; manage and supervise the administrative function and outsourced services of the organization including IT, security services, management of the office premises, facilities and all office equipment and property and ensure safety in the workplace and provision of working tools.
- Responsible for Company insurance.
- Responsible for licensing matters (BOMBA, MIDA, MITI, Custom Dept, etc).
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the management.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma/ Professional Degree in Business Studies/
- Administration/ Management, Human Resource Management, Social Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 to 8 years (s) of working experience in the management of human resources and general administrative controls and indirect purchases in the manufacturing environment.
- Required Languages: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu
- Familiarized with the company's general insurance and authority’s licensing regulations and
- Good exposure to Malaysian labour compliance guides and legislation related to employment issues; familiarity with ISO auditing and documentation controls; and experience in dealing with the Union Committee on the Collective Agreement and IR practices is an added advantage.
- Possess high standards of integrity and ethical practice, be capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader with strong management and Leadership skills.
