Requirements
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Mandarin candidates are welcome to apply.
- At least SPM/ Diploma/ Degree in relevant field.
- Have at least 1-2 years’ experience in Purchasing
- Experience in Construction will be an added advantage
- Strong negotiation skill, analytical skill and sourcing skill.
- Good interpersonal and communication / negotiation skill; good contact with supplier.
- With pleasant personality such as positive attitude, active, self motivated, cautious, responsible and extrovert.
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Office, SQL system, etc
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily purchasing operations, and preparing Purchase Order (PO) to supplier.
- Maintaining computer records and keep the files well documented.
- Reviewing and negotiating of supply and delivery terms.
- Follow, manage and modify purchasing SOP, and improvement time to time.
- To select and solicit sources for the supplies of products and service required.
- Ensure the requirements stated in Purchase Order such as quantity, quality and other specifications conform as requested.
- Overseeing and managing inventory of materials.
- Liaising and collaborating with relevant internal department including Finance, Contract Department and Production to ensure supply efficiency.
- Analyzing and producing report on inventory, as well as material cost.
- To administrate purchase invoices and preliminary entry and other administrative works.
- To perform any tasks as requested by the HOD from time to time.
- Any other task assigned by the Management.
- Assist in any ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
