Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Keep track of key metrics to improve effectiveness and reduce expenditure.
- Prepare negotiation strategies and close deals.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
- Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent or officer.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Knowledge in market dynamics along with business sense.
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Working experience of vendor management software.
- Able to gather and analyse data and to work with figures.
- Excellent judgement along with decision making skills.
- Exemplary leadership capabilities.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 6.15 pm)
Saturday (8.30 am to 5.30 pm) Alternative 2 weeks
