Senior Account Executive

Job Description (Including specific duties and tasks)

1. Administer and maintain a Full Set of Accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
2. Establish, maintain and reconcile General Ledger, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
3. Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly management report and quarterly board report (including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow)
4. Responsible for audit, tax and financing matters. Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary, bankers and maintain Development & Construction accounts.
5. Assist in company financing.
6. Review subsidiaries accounts and conduct consolidation for the company
7. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management from time to time

Essential Qualification And Experience

1. Candidate with Degree in Accounting and a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA)
2. Knowledge in accounting principles, statutory laws and regulations
3. Minimum 5 years working experience in audit, tax or finance, handling closing of account and reporting
4. Minimum 3 years of supervising subordinates
5. IT literate and able to use MS Office application proficiently
6. Knowledge in ERP system will be added advantage (MYOB, AutoCount, Ostendo)
7. Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi functional tasks
8. Attention to details and able to work independently
9. Good team player with a good attitude

Desirable Qualification And Experience

1. Willingness to travel as and when needed
