Job description
The primary objective of this role is to support the respective market Financial Controllers to ensure all entities within APAC markets are compliant from a statutory, tax and reporting perspective withinand managing external audit and tax relationships.
You must sustain a strong relationship with the Senior Leadership Stakeholders, Finance community and other parts of the Regional and Global business
- Deliver accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance to accounting policies
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax filings and reporting deadlines for all entities and countries within the markets the STAR supports
- Ensure efficient completion of external statutory audits, tax filings, and submission to authorities within deadlines.
- Apply and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to support financial targets
- Explain and execute the accounting standards, delegated authority matrix, and Experian policies and assess control risk as necessary
- Identify process standardisation and optimisation of reporting opportunities and deliver ways to simplify the finance processes to create informative, value-adding outputs
- Work seamlessly with colleagues within or across functions and markets, supporting each other to meet business requirements
- Respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely and professional manner
- Continually identify process and reporting improvements that improve the quality of deliverables in the Statutory & Tax Reporting (STAR) function
