We’re looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team! If you enjoy making
guests feel welcome and ensuring they have a great dining experience, we’d love to hear
from you.
Your Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly as they arrive and make them feel comfortable.
• Manage the seating chart, assign tables, and seat guests promptly.
• Handle reservations by phone, online, or in person, and manage any special requests.
• Answer guest questions about the menu or services and ensure they have a positive
experience.
• Keep the entrance and waiting areas clean and organized; manage waitlists when
necessary.
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Process payments and update payment statuses as needed.
• Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, or upcoming events.
• Monitor the flow of guests to ensure tables are efficiently used and wait times are
minimized.
• Gather feedback from guests to improve our service.
• Assist in taking food and beverage orders from guests when needed.
• Explain menu items and beverage options to guests.
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum SPM.
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese (both spoken and written).
• Positive and enthusiastic personality with a natural ability to diffuse tension.
• Strong knowledge of customer service practices.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
