Network Engineer

A Network Engineer in charge of designing, implementing and support the IT network infrastructure for clients. Their duties include attending site surveys, study, project planning and implementation of the network infrastructure and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues.

Education and Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
• Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN , Wireless)
• Network security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Proficient in English with excellent speaking and writing skills, capable of handling calls and meetings with senior management, customers, and vendors
• Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring and network diagnostic
• CCNA/HCIA or higher
• Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a network operation position

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients and vendors
• Attending project study for system design and network infrastructure design
• Prepare pre and post-project documentation
• Install, configure, test and maintain network infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA

Working Hour:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm
• Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis
