Finance Supervisor

About the role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this full-time Finance Supervisor role at MERISON (M) SDN BHD in Melaka, Melaka is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a key position within the company's accounting and reporting team. As a Finance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and contributing to the overall financial management and strategic direction of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and overseeing the work of the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial and accounting regulations and standards
• Providing support and guidance to other departments on financial matters
• Assisting with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Contributing to the overall strategic planning and decision-making process

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably within the Accounting industry
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of ASOFT system & DYNAMIC system
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Strong leadership and people management skills
