OPERATION & WAREHOUSE EXECUTIVE - CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:
   • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of chemicals.
   • Managing stock levels and conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
   • Implementing safety protocols for hazardous materials storage.
2. Logistics Coordination:
   • Planning and organizing transport for chemical shipments.
   • Coordinating with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.
   • Managing documentation for imports, exports, and regulatory compliance.
3. Safety & Compliance:
   • Ensuring the warehouse adheres to safety standards, especially related to hazardous materials.
   • Implementing emergency response procedures for chemical spills or other incidents.
   • Staying updated on regulations governing chemical storage and handling.
4. Operations Oversight:
   • Supervising warehouse staff and coordinating day-to-day operations.
   • Monitoring productivity and efficiency of warehouse processes.
   • Streamlining operations to reduce costs and increase safety and performance.
5. Quality Control:
   • Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and compliance with specifications.
   • Ensuring proper labeling and packaging of chemicals.
   • Managing batch tracking and maintaining records for quality assurance purposes.
6. Equipment & Maintenance:
   • Ensuring proper maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, chemical storage tanks, etc.
   • Coordinating repairs or replacements of equipment as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in Warehouse or Operations Management: Especially in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials Handling: Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and regulations like OSHA or REACH.
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management Skills.
• Safety and Compliance Training: Experience in safety protocols related to chemicals.
• Good Organizational and Communication Skills: For managing teams and liaising with suppliers and regulatory authorities.
