Job Descriptions:
• Responsible to design & create 3D CAD model, 2D component & assembly drawings.
• Manage relationships with external mould suppliers and vendors, ensuring that moulds meet quality standards and delivery schedules through e-mail or zoom meeting.
• Preparation of DFM + Mould Flow Analysis for new project to rectify mould design in optimal condition.
• Work closely with project engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers to understand design requirements and constraints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues during mould development and production.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
Requirements:
• Possess minimum Diploma or Degree in Tool & Die Design or Mechanical Engineering, or certifications in mould design or manufacturing are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in mould design, development, and project management within the plastic injection moulding industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., NX Uni-Graphics (UG), AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
