What you’ll do:
- Develop the mechanical design from initial concept through to detailed planning.
- Take on the responsibility of creating design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects, and review these documents when prepared by junior engineers.
- Prepare comprehensive design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project details/schedules.
- Perform site surveys for mechanical services.
- Aid Professional Engineers in coordinating, preparing, and following up on submissions to authorities, as well as liaising with Local Authority Departments to secure approval for design projects.
- Collaborate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, System Contractors, Civil Contractors, Quantity Surveyors (QS), and others to develop mechanical building services system designs, covering the entire spectrum from concept to detailed planning.
- Act as a Project Manager, overseeing projects from their conceptual stages through to completion.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior engineers.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and bids.
- Exhibit leadership and offer technical expertise.
