Responsibilities:
- Oversee employees onboarding, induction, and orientation under the 45-day OJA and OJT buddying system.
- Prepare onboarding observation reports and conduct monitoring and reviews at 90 and 120 days, leading to confirmation appraisals at 180 days.
- Manage talent acquisition, including defining job roles and preparing job advertisements for online portals (SEEK, LinkedIn, social media, etc.).
- Arrange interview schedules in coordination with the Group Human Resource Manager, relevant Heads of Department, to conduct interviews for shortlisted or potential candidates.
- Support internal and external training programs, including the monthly Joy-On-Saturday (J.O.S.) activities and yearly training development programs.
- Collaborate with various departments (Head of Contract, Operations Director, Project Managers, etc.) to organize J.O.S. activities, and plan skill-up training and development programs, including CIDB Accreditation and MBAM programs.
- Organize annual JALEX Team-Building events with professional trainers and consultants.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assessments, providing improvement ideas and strategies.
- Study and review periodically salary scales, compensation, and benefits packages.
- Review and update the Malaysian Employment Acts, ensuring the Staff Manual is revised accordingly.
- Address employee grievances, manage complaints, conduct mutual discussions with employees and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Assist Group Human Resource Manager with additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources or HR administration.
- 2 to 3 years experience in HR Talent Management
- Familiarity with Malaysian Employment Acts and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
