Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all operations. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash, quality targets and progress reports to company headquarter
- Create work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate manufacturing activities
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions
- Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards
- Monitor production metrics and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Evaluate employee’s performance and coach production teams
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet quality standards
- Review and audit production processes to identify strategies for improvement
- Make decisions related to production, such as staffing and scheduling decisions
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
- Screening, recruiting and training new factory workers
- Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and that the factory is in compliance with all relevant regulations
- Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues
- Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve production processes and reduce costs
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that raw materials and finished products are stored and handled properly
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure that production meets customer demand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial management, logistics, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a management position in a food manufacturing plant
- Certification in production and inventory management as well as quality control
- Knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to Multitask
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communications skills
