Responsibilities:-
- Manage the full set of accounting, audit, and tax processes.
- Ensure that accounting records adhere to internal and external regulations.
- Generate monthly financial and management reports.
- Supervise the preparation of complete financial statements.
- Contribute to the enhancement and improvement of internal controls and procedures.
- Oversee financial operations.
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports.
- Assist in managing cash flow.
- Manage the account payables and account receivable functions.
- Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve any issue arise
- Analyse financial data and generate detailed monthly financial reports of AP/ AR, payroll and bank reconciliations report to management timely
- Coordinate with clients and vendors to rectify payment and billing issues
- Prepare of tax returns, tax payments and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Liaise with auditor and tax agent for relevant accounting / tax issues.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements: -
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate in Accounting or professional qualification
- Has 3 years of relevant accounting and tax experience (Has worked with either of the Big Four audit firms)
- At least 5 years of full set accounting experience.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, SQL & MYOB accounting software and databases.
- Good command of English, Malay & Mandarin.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Excellent communications skills and attention to details.
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate in Accounting or professional qualification
- Results-oriented and proactive.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage stress especially on managing deadlines, workload, client expectations and others.
- Able to work under pressure, tight deadline in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in Setia Alam
