Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities :

• Preparation of cost estimation / project budget / cash flow based on preliminary design or details design
• Responsible on pre-contract of tender, cost planning, budget estimates and post-contract process including site valuation, preparation of progress certificates, variation orders, final account, value engineering, final accounts, procurements, monitoring or materials and construction cost
• Develops the estimates and provides support in obtaining materials and subcontract pricing in conjunction with the project team requirements
• Able to source for sub-contractors / suppliers and negotiate for competitive prices
• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, costing structures, contractural requirements, prepare Letter of Award to sub-contractors
• Preparation of progress claim to main contractors / clients and prepare evaluate subcontractor's claim and payment certificate.
• Assist in monitoring of budget and cost control
• Coordination with site team for latest updates on the work progress and assist to prepare documentation (eg. LOA, taking off, RFI, LAD, and EOT) when necessary
• To ensure that all relevant documents submitted are fully substantiated, accurate, and in accordance with the Contract
• Attend site meetings, site evaluation, joint measurement when necessary

Qualifications :

• Candidates must posses at least Bachelorr's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma. Professional Degress, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent or Professional
• Candidates must posses own transport
• At Least 5 years above working experience in the related field is required
• Preferably Senior Executive specializing in Quantity Surveyor
• Willing to handle and travel for outstation projects
• Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage
• Computer literate with strong spread sheet skills
• Independently and self-motivated
