Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost estimation, tendering, and procurement activities specifically for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects of construction projects.
- Prepare and analyze project cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for CSA works.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments pertaining to CSA components.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts related to CSA systems.
- Monitor CSA project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide advice on cost-effective solutions to enhance project profitability with a focus on CSA.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of CSA systems into the overall project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with specific experience in CSA projects.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Willingness to travel or relocate as required.
