Position Objective
To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in execution and production of communications materials, programmes and events to support company objectives and realising company vision and mission. The individual in this position will have responsibility for communications materials, programmes, initiatives as well as event management; involving internal, external, and media relations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development and implementation of corporate communications plan and programme.
- Assist in development of messaging and communications materials for a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Assist in development and execution of media relations and engagements.
- Work closely with Business Development teams across the Group in planning and execution of marketing communications events, engagements and programmes.
- Work closely with other departments, divisions and subsidiaries, as well as a wide range of external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree holder
- Less than 5 years’ experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, event management, media relations and corporate social responsibility and related courses
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Quick grasp of the issues and trends in the market
- Tech-savvy, well-adapted to new and social media
