We are seeking a skilled Translator who is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. As a translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating written content and documents between these languages, as well as utilizing Microsoft Office tools to facilitate translation tasks. Responsibilities:

1. Translate written documents, including reports, emails, presentations, and other materials, accurately and efficiently between Mandarin, English, and Malay.
2. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, to create, edit, and format translated documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
3. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with the original content.
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure translation projects are completed within deadlines and meet quality standards.
5. Conduct research to understand industry-specific terminology and cultural nuances to produce culturally appropriate translations.
6. Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information during translation assignments.
7. Assist in creating glossaries and maintaining translation memory databases to improve translation efficiency and consistency.
8. Stay updated on language trends, terminology, and technological advancements in translation tools and software.

Qualifications:

1. Must fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all three languages.
2. Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, with the ability to translate various types of content accurately.
3. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, for document creation, editing, and formatting.
4. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt translations to suit different audiences and contexts.
6. Strong research skills to understand complex topics in manufacturing/construction industry.
