Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Data Entry & Record Keeping:
- Enter financial data into accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
Invoice Processing:
- Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Track and organize invoices and payment receipts, ensuring they are filed correctly and promptly.
Bank Reconciliation Support:
- Assist in reconciling bank statements with internal financial records, helping to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Communication:
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of financial transactions.
- Assist with responding to queries from the accounting team and other departments regarding financial records.
Miscellaneous Duties:
- Support the finance team with various ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within an accounting or finance department.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
