Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely data entry of employee information.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, leave entitlements, and other perks.

Employee Relations:

  • Address basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Support the HR Manager in resolving employee relations issues by collecting data and providing initial support.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and assisting in audits as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports and documents as required by the HR Manager.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants.
  • Assist in tracking employee training progress and maintaining training records.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2~3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
