ROLE PURPOSE
FINEXUS Cloud Manager role supports the IT Operation Head and is designated as his successor. Responsibilities include managing data centers and infrastructure, ensuring IT service continuity, providing technical support, overseeing IT operations, implementing and maintaining systems, coordinating with other teams and management, upholding IT policies and procedures, contributing to IT projects, leading and managing the team, and handling documentation and reporting.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Proficient in managing data centers, servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
- Proficient in system deployment, encompassing server assembly, RAID configuration, hypervisor setup, virtualization and containerization, as well as operating system installation and configuration.
- Expertise with Intel-based servers, Proxmox, OpenStack, Oracle Linux, Windows Server and Kubernetes clustering is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in database installation and configuration, replication, clustering, and backup and recovery processes. Familiarity with Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB is highly beneficial.
- Experienced in system and database operation, migration, maintenance and performance tunning.
- In-depth knowledge of IT service continuity, including disaster recovery planning, business continuity strategies, and backup & recovery methods.
- Skilled in overseeing daily IT operations, including monitoring, performance optimization, end-of-day batch processing, and incident management.
- Understanding of IT policies and procedures, including security protocols, IT governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experienced in project management, including leading IT projects, planning, execution, coordination, and managing resources and timelines.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, problem-solving, and taking decisive action.
- Adept in leadership and team management, including mentoring, resolving conflicts, motivating teams, and overall team management.
- Skilled in coordination and collaboration with various teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation, policies, procedures, and reports.
- Effective communicator in both English and Malay with excellent writing skills in both languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure, etc, adds significant value.
- Experience in software development, deployment, support, HSM and encryption key management, as well as network and security, is a valuable asset.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional Qualification / Regulatory Licensing Requirement : Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) adds significant value
- Experience : 8 to 15 years or more of progressively responsible experience in IT
