Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Strategist & Investment Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and executing financial strategies for new business ventures and investments. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, and P&L management, combined with the ability to support the CEO in making informed financial and investment decisions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Financial Strategies: Formulate and implement financial strategies to support new business ventures and investment opportunities.
  • Monitor Financial Performance: Regularly track and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize business operations and profitability.
  • Support CEO: Collaborate closely with the CEO to execute investment and financial strategies, providing expert advice on financial matters.
  • Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough investment analysis, including evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising opportunities.
  • Financial Modeling: Create and refine financial models to support strategic decisions and business planning.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks associated with new ventures and investments, balancing potential rewards with risks.
  • Strategic Planning: Translate financial strategies into actionable plans that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Big 4 Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).
  • Financial Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, P&L management, and investment analysis.
  • Investment Knowledge: Strong understanding of mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and other investment activities.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to convert financial strategies into practical actions that drive business growth and success.

Key Skills:

  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial insights and strategies to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Risk & Reward Management: Strong capability in managing and balancing risks and rewards in business ventures and investment opportunities.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7 Years: At least 7 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, or investment management.
  • High-Growth Environments: Experience in high-growth environments or international markets is a plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced Degrees/Certifications: An MBA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.

  • Financial Strategy Execution: Successful development and execution of financial strategies that lead to business growth and profitability.
  • Investment Success: Identification and execution of lucrative investment opportunities, with a clear understanding of associated risks and rewards.
