Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate with consignee for freight arrangement, Port of loading requirement, Malaysia custom clearance and delivery
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight operations and custom documentation
- Relaying any special requirements and pertinent information to the terminal and any other relevant party
- Prepare arrival notice timely – email/deliver to Broker and consignee to enable custom clearance and transportation
- Monitor all containers’ arrival to eliminate storage charges ensuring prompt delivery to warehouse/consignee factory
- Develop Delivery Order in company system and release delivery to consignee
Requirements:
- Minimum requirement SPM/STPM or Diploma Qualification or Higher Qualification
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (applicants with industry background will have advantage)
- Experience in Ocean Import coordination, and strong knowledge of ocean freight operations and documentation
- Familiar in customs regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS office applications
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure, work independently, multiple tasks, manage time effectively, proactive problem-solving and a team player are essential
- Willing to learn. A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development is a must, as the logistics industry is fast-paced and ever-changing.
