ERP Application Consultant
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning and execution of QA and Integration testing activities within D365FO environment, with a strong emphasis on utilizing automation testing tools such as RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify integration points, data flows, and dependencies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and maintain robust test cases, scenarios, and scripts tailored to D365FO ERP modules and maximizing the usage of automated testing tool capabilities.
- Coordinate with developers, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve identified issues and ensure smooth system rollout and seamless integration with downstream systems.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools, with focus on automatic testing tools and Power Platform capabilities.
- Responsible for testing of periodic service updates released by Microsoft and ensure successful test result before release to production ERP.
- Stay updated on ERP system updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in QA, Integration, and Power Platform utilization.
- Utilize the Power Platform to create data integrations and automate processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on utilizing the automatic testing tool effectively.
Education/Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in D365FO ERP system analysis, configuration, and support, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamic 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO).
- Industry knowledge in Food & Beverage or Retail Sector is preferred.
- Experience in integration project with retail POS system and ERP System.
- Experience in utilizing the RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) within D36SFO ERP context.
- Proficiency in utilizing Power Platform for data integration and process automation within D36SFO is preferred.
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Working experience as a regional/global project management professional.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX ERP product with solid skill in functional knowledge such as Finance, Supply Chain or Retail/Commerce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Expertise in designing and executing QA and Integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to identify complex technical issues.
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive system testing, quality assurance, UAT and training for changes and enhancements.
- Experience in documenting test results, defects, and corrective actions.
- Adaptability to regional variations and a dynamically changing work environment.
