We are an established manufacturer of surimi and surimi-based products in Malaysia. Since incorporated in 1994 as one of the subsidiaries of QL Resources Berhad, a company listed on the main board in the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, we have successfully evolved to become the leading manufacturer and distributor of surimi in the Asian region. We are also proud to be the leading manufacturer of surimi-based products in the country today.

Accordingly, we are the first vertically integrated surimi manufacturer in Malaysia to successfully integrate the surimi production plant with its substantially automated downstream production line to simultaneously produce both surimi and surimi-based products. Today, all our existing operations are also being increasingly automated and continuously upgraded in line with modernization and operational efficiency.

Through a workforce of more than 800 workers, we produce a wide variety of chilled and frozen surimi-based products of the highest quality. All these products are delicious, nutritious and naturally fresh as we focused on utilizing only fresh marine fish source in our productions. Our products include crab filament sticks, fishball, fish tofu and chikuwa packed under two names i.e. ‘MUSHROOM’ and “OceanRia”’. We also manufacture a wide range of dried surimi-based products such as dried fish fillet and squid rolls under the brand name “Ika's”.

Our daily production of surimi and surimi-based products exceeds 80 metric tonnes and these products are exported to many countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea as well Canada and the United States of America. We achieved a turnover of USD 60 million for the year 2011 and are optimistic that we will continue to successfully expand and actively lead in this sector.
